The Lloyds TSB Foundation NI engages with Gauge

In January 2011, Lloyds TSB Foundation for Northern Ireland commissioned Gauge NI to measure the impacts of its Creating Change Pilot Programme.

Creating Change commenced in April 2008 and is a £2m investment programme over a 6-year period.  Nineteen organisations have been funded from across the Third Sector in NI representing a range of geographies and issues.  Gauge will be measuring the impacts to date of the programme on a number of levels over the past three years through analysing the added value; leverage; networking; and community impact that The Lloyds TSB Foundation for Northern Ireland provides beyond the disbursement of grant monies.

The impact measurement has begun with the programme participants involved in initial capacity building to measure their community impact using Social Return on Investment (SROI).  Two events have taken place in February at Clifton House, Belfast and in March at Newbuildings, L’Derry.  The work will follow onwards with a final Impact Report in the Autumn 2011.
